Letter №03
The Man Who Never Was
I think the greatest fear in my life is not becoming the man I could have been.
What does that entail, that means picking the hard path in each decision as often as I can.
However, maybe I won’t achieve this sentiment fully because I do think the motto of 50% now 50% later resonates with me the most right now.
That was from a hated man called Tristan Tate. However, I think there is great wisdom in that because if you do it by odds.
How can you be sure that tomorrow or the next minute won’t be your last minute?
How can you be sure that it will be?
Well because of that you should enjoy 50% of your time and work as hard as possible for the other 50%.
Another reason this is probably a more productive state of being is because a human is not an agent.
We cannot eternally keep grinding 24/7, we need to satisfy our emotions now and then.
We need to be present now and then.
We need to live now and then.
Fulfilment cannot be found in a reality that never arrives.
Fulfilment must therefore come in the moment.
This balance is the hardest and one I am still learning but I know as of right now, I am in the grind side of that equation.
If I want to be the man who I want to be rather than the man who never was.
I must keep going, keep putting my head down and for anyone who is trying to chase a similar journey? I wish the same to you, good luck to you kind soul
